Refund & Cancellation Policy

Transparency about payments and returns.

Important: Direct Payment Model

FindmyPCB functions as a connecting marketplace. We do not collect, hold, or process payments for PCB orders. All payments are made directly by the Customer to the Supplier's bank account. Therefore, any refunds for orders must be processed by the Supplier directly.

1. Order Cancellation

Since Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are custom-manufactured products tailored to your specific design files, our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Before Production Starts: If you request a cancellation after payment but before the Supplier marks the order as "Production Started," you are generally entitled to a full refund, minus any small administrative fees charged by the bank.
  • After Production Starts: Once the manufacturing process (CAM engineering, cutting, etching) has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. The materials and labor have already been committed to your custom design.

2. Returns & Quality Disputes

Due to the custom nature of the product, "Change of Mind" returns are not accepted. Refunds or remakes are only applicable in the case of manufacturing defects.

  1. Reporting Defects: Customers must report any quality issues (e.g., short circuits, open circuits, incorrect silkscreen) within 7 days of delivery via the platform's Order Dispute system.
  2. Verification: The Supplier has the right to request photographic evidence or the return of the defective boards for analysis.
  3. Resolution: If the defect is verified:
    • Option A (Preferred): The Supplier will manufacture a replacement batch (Remake) at no extra cost.
    • Option B: If a remake is not possible, the Supplier will issue a refund directly to your bank account.

3. Supplier Subscription Refunds

This section applies only to Manufacturers/Suppliers paying platform fees.

Fees paid to FindmyPCB for subscription plans or lead access are non-refundable, except in the following cases:

  • Double Charge: If a technical error causes you to be charged twice for the same billing period.
  • Service Failure: If the platform is inaccessible for more than 48 consecutive hours due to our server issues.

Requests for subscription refunds must be sent to support@findmypcb.com within 3 days of the transaction.

4. Platform Role in Disputes

While FindmyPCB does not hold the funds, we act as a trusted intermediary to ensure fair trade:

  • If a Supplier refuses a valid refund request for a defective product, we reserve the right to suspend or ban their account from our marketplace.
  • We will provide all necessary transaction logs and chat history to assist the Customer in any external dispute resolution or legal proceedings.
